Aunt Becky updating...WOW what a fabulous event for Carson and his parents and everyone there!  We can't thank everyone enough for showing your love and support for the Bowman's.  It is truly a blessing to have such wonderful family, friends and those we don't even know care so much!  It was a great evening to spread awareness about Menkes and that is exactly what everyone did.  A big shout out to Jamie and Drew and to Dr. Graf for sharing their stories and information!  

Thanks again everyone...words just can't express how much we appreciate all your love, prayers and support!

And to quote a dear friends thoughts after the event..."God knew exactly what he was doing when he gave Carson to Sarah and Jeff...without a doubt.  I am so PROUD of them!"

Happy Birthday to Carson!!! What a big boy, 1 and a half...wow time flies.

We are out of surgery and in our room. The surgery went very smoothly and took only 90 minutes. He was in recovery for another 30. Still pretty groggy at this point. Will update more later with pics.

quick update

We will be heading to the Hospital on Wed, Feb 11 (Carson's 18 month birthday!!) for surgery to insert a G-Tube and have a Fundoplication done. We are looking forward to this, it will be helpful to Carson. Please say a few extra prayers that all goes as smoothly as planned.

Slient Auction and Poker Tourney is looking good. Some great prizes are coming in like, T-Bones tickets and you get to throw out the first pitch of the baseball game, vacation packages, gift cards, and much more. Anthony Davis, Former Chief and Super Bowl winner with the Ravens will be helping with the silent auction with some of his sports memorabilia from Anthony Davis & Associates.
